Imgur hosts an annual collaborative event with Extra Life to raise money for the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. The 2019 Team Imgur logo was branded by the in-house design team.
After the initial logo was drafted, variations of style and color were considered including incorporating elements of video games such as LEDs, glowy game style lighting, and strong bevels.
